The Town of Zwolle, Louisiana is incorporated in the State of Louisiana under a special charter and is governed by a Mayor and five-member City Council. Currently serving as the town's mayor and council members are, from left, Nell Maxey (who also serves as the Council's secretary), Martha Henderson (treasurer), Ellzy Anderson (who heads up the Streets and Sidewalks department), Carolyn Cutright (who is over the town's Health and Sanitation department), and Allen Rivers (Mayor Pro-Tempore). At front is Mayor Roger Lopez, who also heads up the town's Public Works division.
Zwolle City Hall is located at 952 South Main Street and is open five days a week. City Hall hours are from 8 a.m. until noon and from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. City offices can be reached at (318)645-6141.

City Hall houses the town's water department, with a front counter for residents paying their bills; a large meeting with ample seating; and the Mayor's Office.

City Hall is adjacent to the newly-constructed Zwolle Police Department, which is headed by Zwolle Police Chief Marvin Frazier, shown at right.
